2013 Mini Paceman

The Paceman is a two-door concept coupe that debuted last year, and our sources say it's a lock for production. Mini will have to work hard with this model, though, which is essentially the forthcoming Countryman minus two doors. The Paceman should either get real horsepower and ride considerably lower than the Countryman (think: a big version of the Mini Cooper S, but with all-wheel drive), or be made even more all-road capable than the Countryman, as a rival to the likes of the Subaru WRX—of course in full rally-car livery. The latter may actually be more likely, as Mini is racing a 2011 Countryman in the World Rally Championships. That car? It gets 300 hp!

SEPTEMBER: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

While we've heard reports that the SRT (or SRT8, depending on whom you trust) will get as much as 500 hp from its new 6.4-liter Hemi V8, we're at least certain that the SRT is actually coming, and likely to arrive late this summer. If it's anything like the already deeply impressive Grand, the SRT8 is going to be both refined and scary fast, with a predicted eight-speed transmission and at a price (roughly $45,000) that deeply undercuts the likes of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and other performance crossovers.

Fiat 500 Abarth hits showrooms in the United States

The Fiat 500 design is similar to that of the MINI Cooper, and not surprisingly, was designed by the same individual, Frank Stephenson. But what differs greatly between the cars is what’s under the hood, and how big of a dent it’ll put in your back pocket.
Running on an eye-opening 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine, maxing 94 horsepower, don’t expect to be winning any racing medals anytime soon. But if you’re not concerned about speed, the Fiat 500 can lift quite a burden on your finances.
When it hits the showroom in late 2010, it’s expected to become one of the best cars for fuel economy in the U.S., averaging almost 40+ mpg. Although no numbers have been officially released, the cost of the Fiat 500 is expected to be quite affordable. In terms of auto insurance, the Fiat is expected to be one of the most affordable in the U.S. due to its low cost, small engine, and high fuel economy.

2011 Audi R8 5.2 V10 FSI Quattro Spyder

The topless version of the stupendously awesome Audi R8 supercar is finally official public knowledge. The reveal of the Spyder, which also will serve as Iron Man’s next ride, shows that the R8 looks just as amazing with its domed roof removed.
The R8 Spyder is being debuted only in 5.2 FSI form (Iron Man would accept nothing less, we hear), which means that a 525-hp V-10 with 391 lb-ft of torque rests under the sexy rear bodywork. In this case, front/rear weight distribution is split 43/57 percent, and Audi expects that the R8 5.2 FSI Spyder will be able to hit 62 mph in 4.1 seconds and 134 mph in 12.7 on its way to a top speed of 194 mph. Transmission choices remain a cool, six-speed gated manual and a six-speed R tronic automated manual.

Nissan To Build Rear-Wheel Drive Electric Powered Sports Car

Nissan has plans to launch its own small sports car that will rival the Mazda MX-5. Nissan’s newcomer will have a rear-wheel drive system and will be powered by the Leaf’s electric drivetrain. At one point, Nissan wanted to revive the legendary rear-wheel drive 200SX but that was put on the back burner in 2008.
However, the project has been resurrected, and it will be part of Nissan’s ambitious plan to launch 52 new cars by 2016. Before the SX was shelved, the plan was for the car to sit on the 370Z platform, and would share the turbocharged 1.6-liter Juke engine that produces 188-hp. However, plans have changed again, and the car will likely have an entirely different name, using an all-new chassis. Last March, Daimler signed and agreement with Nissan to supply mid-size platforms to the Japanese automaker. The platform can accommodate anything from a four-banger to a V8, but nothing has officially been announced as of yet.

Porsche Cayman S Black Edition

Hot on the heels of its Boxster S cousin comes the Porsche Cayman S Black Edition ($67,500). Like it's black stablemates, the Cayman S Black sports a modest 10 hp bump that's good for a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds and total output of 330 horses, as well as a six-speed manual or Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) seven-speed double clutch transmission, 19-inch black wheels, monochrome black treatment on the exterior and interior — with a touch of aluminum and stainless steel to mix things up a bit — and standard features like dynamic Bi-Xenon headlights, auto-dimming mirrors, and the touch-screen Porsche Communication Management system with navigation, a Bose surround-sound system and XM radio. If you want one, you'd better hurry — only 500 are being made.

45th Anniversary Edition Chevrolet Camaro

It might not have been available for each of those 45 years, but it has been around since '67, so we'll give it the benefit of the doubt. The 2012 45th Anniversary Edition Chevrolet Camaro celebrates the birthday of Chevy's pony car by adding 11 horsepower to its V6 LFX engine and offering 20-inch dark silver wheels, dark silver trim for the fog lamps and taillight bezels, HID headlights and a rear spoiler standard, body-color roof molding, a jet black interior with red, white, and blue stitching on the seats, white gauges, a 45th Anniversary hood and desk stripes, and tons of badges — just in case you forget that you're driving the car equivalent of a birthday cake.

2012 Chrysler 300

Did you lose yourself in the latest "Imported from Detroit" Chrysler 300 ads only to find the engine selection more abhorrent than Eminem's awful Brisk commercial? The 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 should remedy the situation. Anchored by a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 pumping out 465 horses, the new SRT8 also boasts a 25 percent fuel economy boost, paddle shifters to go with the console-mounted Auto Stick, an Adaptive Damping Suspension system to provide a sticky yet comfortable ride, seven-spoke, forged aluminum 20-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, a heated steering wheel, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, and an available 900-watt, 19-speaker system from Harman Kardon that should do plenty of justice to whatever you're playing, whether it be rap or rock.

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

Offering 465 horsepower and 465 lb-ft. of torque, the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is by far the most powerful Jeep ever offered. As a result, Jeep says that it should be capable of sprinting to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds with a mid-13 second quarter mile figure. Top speed is limited to 155 mph.

Nissan Leaf Heads Across America

The 2011 LEAF from the Japanese car manufacturer is 100% powered by a lithium-ion battery. Seating up to 5 people, the new LEAF can go up to an impressive 100 miles without using a single drop of gasoline. With a highly efficient electricity-powered motor, the LEAF generates up to 107 horsepower and 207 ft-lb of torque, making the car completely green without sacrificing any performance. The car can be charged up to 80% in just 30 minutes with a quick charge port; however it will take up to 8 hours to completely charge when done from a regular 220V outlet from home. The 2011 Nissan LEAF is already available in certain states in the US, but it will be released nationwide in the coming months.

New York Auto Show: 2011 Mercedes SLS AMG GT3

Mercedes-Benz introduced a new race car during the New York Auto Show earlier today.  The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 will be used in competition beginning in 2011.

The 2011 Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 is powered by the AMG 6.3-litre V8 front-mid engine with dry sump lubrication coupled with a sequential six-speed racing transmission steering wheel shift paddles. The 2011 Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 also comes with an multi-disc locking differential integrated in the
transmission. The engine and the transmission of the 2011 Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 are connected via a torque tube within which a carbon-fiber shaft rotates at the engine speed, as in the roadgoing version.

The SLS AMG GT3 features a new new front apron with a splitter, the bonnet with central cooling air vent, wider front and rear wings, sideskirts with cooling ducts for the rear brakes, a rear diffuser and the adjustable rear aerofoil.

That light-weight body is made entirely of carbon fiber, with impressive new aerodynamics including a massive front splitter, rear diffuser and enormous rear spoiler. Compared to the road car, the GT3’s bodywork is two inches wider, enough to accommodate some massive center locking 18×12-inch front and 18×13-inch rear wheels with racing slicks. Inside those wheels is a special composite AMG race braking system with six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear calipers.

Volkswagen Formula XL1 Concept

Imagine if you could go over 250 miles on a single gallon of gas. Volkswagen hasn't just imagined it — they've made it a reality with the Volkswagen Formula XL1 Concept . Far more production-ready than the company's past one-liter efforts, the XL1 is powered by a hybrid two cylinder TDI engine and electric motor/lithium ion battery pairing, and features a seven-speed dual clutch DSG transmission, side-by-side seating, wing-style doors, carbon fibre reinforced polymer parts throughout the body, and the ability to go around 20 miles without needing any gas at all. We're just hoping the design gets a little more work, as the futuristic-as-of-1983 styling isn't really doing it for us.

Mercedes-Benz A-Class Concept

German automaker, Mercedes-Benz, has introduced a new concept, it’s called Concept A-Class.
The new car will make its debut at both the 2011 New York and Shanghai Auto Shows later this month, and it invite drivers to embark on a new compact class era at Mercedes-Benz.
With a whole new futuristic look, the car sports a long hood, low silhouette and slim side windows. Mercedes-Benz.com describes its look being inspired by the wind and waves as well as aviation engineering.
The interior is just as captivating and reminiscent of an luxury aircraft. Drivers become the pilot with a dashboard that looks like a aircraft wing and a center console designed to give their very own flight control panel.
Aside from cosmetics, The front-wheel drive car is powered by a four cylinder gasoline engine from the new M270 series and offers high performance with minimal emissions and fuel consumption. Technical highlights include a new turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, duel clutch transmission and a radar-based collision warning system with adaptive Brake Assist, reducing the risk of rearend collisions.

Imperia GP

The trend towards retro car designs continues with the Imperia GP ( roughly $110,000). Resurrecting a brand name that's been dead for over half a century, the GP is a plug-in hybrid with a turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder combustion engine and a perky electric engine for a range of around 44 miles on battery power alone, a 0 to 100 km/h time of six seconds in electric mode — and only four seconds when in hybrid mode — and exterior styling that recalls the company's past glories, while bringing the design language into the 21st century.

Koenigsegg Agera R

It's a shame how often our modern society overuses the word "extreme," but it works perfectly for describing the Koenigsegg Agera R ($TBA). Packing a 5.0L, biofuel-drinking twin-turbo V8, the Agera produces an extreme amount of horsepower — 1,115 hp, to be exact. Other ultra-severe features include a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission, a carbon fiber monocoque so stiff that the roof is completely removable, Vortex Generating Rim (VGR) wheels sporting spokes that act as turbines to maximize downforce, and specially-made Michelins for keeping things under control at extreme speeds.

Bentley Supersports Ice Speed Record Convertible

Fresh off setting a new world ice speed record, Bentley is ready to celebrate with the Bentley Supersports Ice Speed Record Convertible ($TBA). Limited to just 100 cars worldwide, this beastly drop-top features a 6.0 L, twin turbo-charged W12 Flex Fuel engine that runs on either gasoline or E85 bio-ethanol or any combination of the two and is good for 631 hp. Paired with a Quickshift six-speed automatic transmission, the Continental can go from 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and from 0-100 in just 9.5 seconds; other features include all-wheel drive, a new exhaust system, diamond-quilted Alcantara interior accents, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 30GB hard drive, and the ability to keep you warm even though your roof is made of fabric.

Audi Design Soccer Table

Normally when we hear stories about luxury cars and soccer, they're about pro players and their fancy new rides — so the Audi Design Soccer Table (€12,900; roughly $18,300) is a nice breath of fresh air. Bringing its considerable design chops to the game of foosball, Audi created a table worthy of its name, with a sleek brushed aluminum frame, high-end table components, slick integrated score markers, and an eye-grabbing glossy green pitch.

BMW Vision Connected Drive Concept

BMW has released a new Vision concept car, taking the torch from the BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics concept with clear inspiration from the world of Tron.  The new BMW Vision Connected Drive Concept is yet another bold step forward for BMW concept styling, a design with a clear departure from BMW bread and butter.  The classic BMW grille and logo are present, but the rest of the design is more curvy, aggressive and downright dangerous when compared to the familiar standard.

The New Supercar Pagani Huayra

Pagani has released official images of its highly anticipated supercar Huayra. Car is powered by a Mercedes AMG built 6.0-litre V12 twin turbo engine, capable to putting out 700 horses and more than 1000Nm of torque. The top speed for the car is said to be in the region of 370km/h. Now if you have so much power and only 1350 kgs of weight, you could be quite sure to go from 0-100 km per hour in less than 3 seconds. While the Huayra looks like a rocketship from the outside, from the inside, it is done up in classy, rich interior bits. There is an old world charm about the leather draped interior of the Huayra.  There is exposed aluminium and then there is lots of carbon fibre to delight all those new age speed nuts.  To make this marriage of class and modernity work in perfect harmony you have some natty blue backlit gauges and multi-function displays for navigation and communication.

Alfa Romeo 4C Concept

Following in the footsteps of its positively stunning predecessor, the Alfa Romeo 4C Concept is both lighter and smaller in dimensions than the 8C Competizione. The 4C Concept is built from carbon fiber and aluminum and manages to keep an ultralight weight of 1,873 lbs. Not nearly as powerful as its bigger brother’s V8, the 4C’s 200 hp direct injection four-cylinder turbo is able to drive the rear wheels of this lightweight looker to 60 mph in a little more than four seconds. We imagine the 4C will be quite the tossable sports car if Alfa brings it to market with its excellent power-to-weight ratio. The fact that it’s easy on the eyes with its beautiful lines, traditional Alfa grille and unique matte red paint is just icing on the cake. We especially hope the U.S. gets a hold of this car, which is entirely possible given that Alfa is seriously considering making its way back to our shores.

Shadow Ebike Wireless Electric Bicycle

The Shadow EBike ($2,000) looks like it was plucked right off Big Bird’s curb, but don’t let the gaudy paint job distract you. Look closely, and you’ll notice there are no brake or gear cables. Electric wires from the motor, battery, controller or throttle are absent too. That’s pretty amazing considering the bike includes features such a 2350W motor, 36V 10AH lithium battery, Daymak Drive controller, 110V charging port (yeah, it can juice your phone) and an LED battery power display. The bike’s secret lies in those hoopty-approved wheel covers, which ingeniously hide components, Rita Hayworth Shawshank-style, as does the thick framing. A wireless throttle, power switch, magnetic regenerative breaks, and pedal assist system also cut down on the cordage. On the performance side, the bike can reach speeds up to 20mph, and has an average range of 13 miles using just motor power, or 16 with pedal-assistance. Complete recharging of the battery takes approximately 4–6 hours.

2012 Aston Martin Virage Coupe

Aston Martin produces some of the sexiest sheetmetal in the automotive industry today, and the tally now stands at 8 (we’re not counting the diminutive Cygnet in this group). Every new offering seems more swoopy than the the previous one, and the 2012 Aston Martin Virage Coupe ($200,000) is no exception. Created to fill a slot between the DB9 and the Bond driven DBS, the Virage Coupe carries forward a name used by Aston some 20 years ago but ups the ante by dropping in a delicious V12 that does not betray what the exterior package promises to deliver. With a 6.0 liter powertrain churning out 490 hp and 420 lb-ft torque, this curvaceous beauty will scramble to 60 in a little over 4 seconds and top out at almost 190 mph. This sonorous V12 is mated to a six-speed auto gearbox, connected to a carbon-fiber driveshaft and limited slip diff. Carbon Ceramic Matrix brakes (28 lbs lighter than its iron brothers) atop manhole cover-sized 15.7 inch front and 14.2 inch rear brakes will stop this Brit with authority and next to no fade. Along with the satisfaction of your performance appetite, your butt gets babied, too, as the interior takes 70 man-hours of expert British craftsmanship to complete using seven different Scandanavian cowhides. Gorgeous wood and clean aluminum round out the interior in what appears to be an absolutely posh yet tasteful cockpit. Look for it in both Virage Coupe and Volante Convertible formats. Note the very tasteful orange it comes in, as well.

2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4

The long-awaited replacement for the top end Lamborghini Murcielago has finally broken cover. Introducing the even more vicious and beautiful Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Carrying over several significant design elements from the limited edition Reventon, the all-carbon fiber bodied Aventador boasts a ferocious 6500cc V12 engine that snorts out 700 hp and 479 lb feet of torque. That colossal power is sent to all four wheels, allowing the bull to reach 60 in less than 3 seconds and max out at a face-warping 217 mph. Power is nothing, though, without adequate middle management. To this end, the V12 is connected to an all-new seven speed automated manual, known as the Lamborghini Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) that moves from one gear to the next nearly simultaneously, providing lightning fast 50 millisecond shifts. Stopping is bolstered by massive 380mm carbon ceramic brakes, six-piston fronts and four-piston rears. This range topper also benefits from a 500 pound weight drop over its predecessor due to a carbon fiber chassis and an increased rigidity of 70%, which should prove a boon for the handling. One feature that we feel should show up on every low-slung supercar is the Aventador’s unique hydraulic chin-lifter, raising the front of the car by 40mm at the touch of a button, so you don’t embarrass yourself next time you exit the drive-thru at Bob’s Big Boy. With the Aventador, the carmaker from Sant’Agata effectively takes its flagship into the 21st century of supercars. The technology, design and the performance should be nothing short of astounding. Estimated price? A whopping $350,000.

2011 Cadillac CTS-V Black Diamond Edition

If Darth Vader had been born in Detroit, this just might be his vehicle of choice. The new 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Black Diamond Edition ($70,000). Uncannily timed with the release of a similarly adorned steerable rocket sled, the Porsche 911 Black Edition, this iteration of the already stunning CTS-V adds upgraded interior materials like microfiber suede Recaro sport seats to cradle the Dark Overlord’s butt and Midnight Sapele wood trim. For the exterior mods, you’ll find a black triple coat SpectraFlair paint job, yellow Brembo brakes and gorgeous 19″ matte black wheels that add that extra touch of sinister, in case the 6.2 liter 556 hp V8 isn’t enough to send the kiddies running. Thankfully, this rip-snorting American-made monster is available in both paddle shift automatic and a beloved 6-speed manual. This ninja’d version will also show up in the sedan and wagon, as well. Get behind the wheel and start playing “The Imperial March” as you overtake the petty masses.

2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

Revamped both inside and out, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is a four door force to be reckoned with. Earlier generations of Mercedes AMG vehicles were blunt force instruments. Lately though, Merc has been churning out drool-worthy vehicles that truly raise the performance quotient for the German automaker, as is the case for the C63. So, for you laymen, it’s not just fast in a straight line, it handles the twisties, too. With 481 hp, the naturally aspirated C63 will make mincemeat of most sports cars, rocketing the “family sedan” to 60 in 4.3 seconds. That’s awfully close to Ferrari territory, folks. The all-new AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed transmission has four driving mode selections with rev-matching and a “Race Start” option, so you won’t need that cup of joe to wake you up on your morning commute. Brushed piano lacquer and dark aluminum trim add a stealthy sophistication to the interior. Other niceties include Adaptive Highbeam Assist, Parktronic parking guidance, Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Assist. The C63 can’t teach you how to drive, but if you can, it will certainly get you to your destination with haste and taste. Available Fall 2011.

Audi Carbon Ski Concept

In case Hublot’s sledge doesn’t strike your winter sport fancy, consider Audi’s Carbon Ski Concept a potential alternative. Created in collaboration with Head, Audi’s Munich based concept design team has developed a pair of skis built around a wood core sandwiched between aluminum and titanium and coated in carbon fiber. The result is a more rigid, yet more flexible design than your average pair of terra firma skis. The carbon fiber finish lends to some seriously beautiful planks, too. Like the Audi E-Tron, the skis are only concepts for now… but that doesn’t mean you can’t dream of bombing Grand Couloir on them.

Lamborghini PML-F Formula 1 Concept

Unlike the Prancing Horse, Lambo lacks any serious racing pedigree. The newly designed Lamborghini PML-F Formula 1 Concept, however, could change that. Part F1 racer, part Dark Knight transport, this demonic creation from Sabino Leerentveld is intended to be propelled by a 3.0L 1200 hp V12. If it ever gets built, pairing that engine with the proposed ultralight sub-one-ton frame would result in a horsepower-to-weight ratio capable of dealing speed-induced damage to your internal organs. Make that a table for two with its side-by-side seating setup. Still, spend one moment staring into its stealth black exterior and those concerns will disappear faster than this beast off the starting line.

Electric PiCycle & Smartphone To Stop Bike Theft.

The PiCycle is an interesting machine for a few reasons. First off it’s electric, second it’s two-wheeled drive and third, it has a built in theft recovery system that updates its location on your smartphone. Personally I don’t believe in bicycles that power themselves, but I do believe in getting back at the bad guys that stole them. The PiCycle is currently being sold through Best Buy for $2,495.00. It’s not cheap, but with up to 20 miles on a single charge and a way to get it back if it gets nicked, it’s actually not a bad way to get around.

Volkswagen's next-generation Passat is expected to up the stakes against Germany’s luxury carmakers, with the car’s designers hoping it will be mentioned in the same breath as the BMW 3-Series, Mercedes Benz C-Class and Audi A4.

Under the hood, a replacement for the VR6 engine will be in place, putting out close to 300hp (224kW) from a displacement of 3.0L. To improve mileage and maintain power, the new engine will also be using direct injection, while the rest of the powertrain lineup is expected to benefit from some form of forced induction as well. Other models will include a new hybrid as well as a high-performance diesel with AWD.

To give the Passat some much needed panache, VW will be pulling out all the stops to make the next-generation a technological showcase, with features that should have the traditional German manufacturers feeling a little worried.

Expected to debut in late 2011 as a 2012 model, the next-generation Passat is tipped to feature a host of new technologies, including airless tires, a wiperless window cleaning system, and an advanced user interface. There may also be an electronic stability system with a feature that automatically offers counter-steering assistance in adverse driving conditions.

compare it! Hybrid SUVs from BMW, Porsche and Lexus

SUVs have long had a reputation as oversized gas guzzlers – so are their hybrid versions more environmentally friendly?Lexus led the way with its RX450h. Now in its second generation, the Lexus delivers 299 horsepower. BMW got into the act with the X6, which produces a whopping 485 horsepower, while Porsche’s Cayenne Hybrid offers 380 hp. Drive it put the three hybrids through the paces in the Dolomites of northern Italy.

Company officials said the car’s lithium battery capacity of up to 35.5 kwh, you can drive Saab 9-3 ePower driving about 200 km. The other hand, our concern is battery life, under normal circumstances the battery can be used for 10 years. Fully charged according to the different supply voltage to spend about 3-6 hours, and if the voltage is very large, the charging time can be further reduced, so this battery systems simply do not limit the input voltage.

Lamborghini Reventón Roadster Pics Reveal Dangerous Bodywork

Lamborghini originally denied the development of a Reventón roadster, but these pics surfaced online to prove otherwise. The exterior is crazy, with edges sharp enough to keep away from a depressed emo hipster. Inside, magnates will find loads of alcantara and carbon fiber. Power should come from the same 6.5-liter V12 producing 650hp and 487 lb-ft of torque, so I suggest you avoid the 200+mph top speed with the top down lest you be sucked out of your own whip. Price will be roughly $1.75 mil. FUN FACT: The Reventón’s exhaust system is coated with plasma-sprayed, zirconia-based ceramics, the same material used to protect the insides of nuclear reactors.

John Lennon's first car up for auction

John Lennon's first car will be sold next month and is expected to fetch upward of $180,000, British auction house Bonhams said.
The sparkling blue 1965 Ferrari GT 2+2 Coupe was the first car the Beatles legend bought after passing his driving test in 1965.
That was the year that Lennon and the rest of the Beatles released their smash hits "Help" and "Ticket to Ride."
The auction house says the ride is expected to fetch between 120,000 to 170,000 pounds (186,200 to 263,800 dollars).
The singer owned the car for less than a year, the auction house said.
He was better known for a Rolls Royce Phantom V limousine that he purchased soon afterward and painted in psychedelic colors.
It is hard to determine who owned the Ferrari after Lennon parted with it. In the 1990s, it was restored to its original condition by its then-owner, the auction house said.
The car will be auctioned off on February 5.

Ciento Once Prototype by GWA Is One of a Kind

The Forgotten Gullwing. Back in 1970, this car was a hero, breaking all the records with its revolutionary Wankel diesel engine. A few prototypes where built, but never came out as a production model.
Arturo Alonso, GWA owner, felt that this beautiful and legendary car deserved a revival. Making careful changes to the original design and updating it with modern details, he created, what he calls, the”Ciento Once”.
Housed in a tubular space frame chassis, the power plant is a M120 Mercedes V12 engine with 408 HP, which can be admired trough a glass on the rear deck. The robust engine is paired with a 6-speed Cima H type transaxle and a special tuned exhaust.
The Ciento Once will feature a slightly shorter wheelbase than the original (103 in) and maintain the weight around 1,400kg. Assisted by the upgraded suspension with coil-overs, to adjust the ride and height, and the same braking set up as the S55 Mercedes Benz, this car will definitely be fun to drive.
The body will be hand made out of aluminum and includes the electric-operated rear adjustable wing to help it grip the pavement. For aerodynamics, a rear diffuser and front spoiler with a big air intake will guide the air flow into the radiators and then out through the hood vents.
The interior of the Ciento Once resembles the original from the 70’s with some updated features: carbon fiber seats covered in plaid, instrumentation modeled after a W120R MB (including the radio and the a/c control unit), brushed aluminum pedals, dashboard accent, and illuminated door sills.
Using the same set up as the SLS, the car runs on staggered GWA Type A wheels, 19X9 front and 20X11 rears, with 265/35/19 and 295/30/20 rubber.
The Ciento Once prototype, which will likely be one of a kind, will be painted in brilliant silver with black accents and matching interior.
